My Hero...Franck Ribery (he got the scar on his face when he was 2 years old in a car accident)
Will he leave Olympique Marseille even though he recently signed a 3 year deal and the French Football Association said at the end of last year that the league needs to hold on to it's superstars longer and specifically cited Franck? I'd love to see him at Arsenal, that team has grown on me. I am a huge fan of Tomas Rosicky who left Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season (pre-world cup) and he is starting on my fantasy team, care to join the league?
Okay now music...
I have never been a huge fan of the Wainwrights and shyed away from their music for a while because of the college scene they have going. Rufus is interesting and all, but what intrigued me was reading about Martha's last EP entitled Blood Mother Fucking Asshole. It was a sleeper, but the title track is good and deserves a listen. As well, Snow Patrol released a new album a few months back on my alma mater Interscope Records and after giving it a whirl the main track that stood out featured Martha.

Snow Patrol & Martha Wanwright - Set The Fire To The Third Bar
LA indie veterans Silversun Pickups release their debut (?!?) album tomorrow even though they have been together for about 5 years and played probably 100 LA shows. It is a good effort and I think you should pick it up for your summer jam.
Silversun Pickups-Rusted Wheel is the jam!
Hailing from Michigan and featuring members of His Name Is Alive is NOMO. Their new record "Nu Tones" is available now on Ubiquity Records, and it is worth it. It is jazzy and funky and no lyrics.
Nomo-Better Than That(from their last album)
Mclusky is a band from Wales that recently broke up. The good news is that they released a 3 CD set that goes for about $16.99 that has everything you need from them. Here are 2 tracks to check out. They are a rock band with some very creative titles and lyrics.
